Blizzard releases long-awaited updates for its popular games

Available for both Mac OS X and Windows PCs, Blizzard’s addictive games receive updates on a regular basis. Releases generally take long, but the company makes good on every promise, when trying to enhance the gameplay experience, whether it’s for fans of its popular MMORPG, World of Warcraft, or Diablo II fanatics. Today, both of these titles are being updated.

By releasing a new patch for its popular MMORPG, World of Warcraft got updated to version 3.3.3. In addition to fixing the usual array of bugs, the update delivers balance changes, content additions, and a variety of updates to the Battleground system, Blizzard Entertainment has revealed.

Concerning the latter, the Random Battleground system has been added. Similarly to the Random Dungeon system in the Dungeon Finder, players can now queue for a random Battleground, according to the company. Softpedia recently reported that a test realm patch was available for WoW gamers, introducing beta testers to the changes in version 3.3.3 of the game.

For the second part of our story, Blizzard Entertainment has also released the long-awaited 1.13c patch for Diablo II. Available for both Mac and PC, Diablo II is the sequel to the game Diablo, a dark, fantasy-themed, action, role-playing game (RPG) played in four acts.

It was released for Mac OS X in 2000, under the publishing label of Blizzard Entertainment, while the development was handled by Blizzard North. The highly anticipated patch introduces an array of changes, including a new mystery to uncover, video improvements for Intel-based Macs running Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) or higher, and the addition of respecialization options.
