14 DAY TRIAL // Good news for Android users, as a new version of WhatsApp Messenger has just been launched and is now available for download. Although it’s not a major release, those who wish to install it can do so via the developer’s site.
Version 2.9.6338 has just been uploaded on WhatsApp’s servers, but it has yet to be pushed to Google Play. In fact, given the fact that it only brings minor changes, it may not be released on Google Play until a more important build is created.
Nevertheless, those who have downloaded previous versions of WhatsApp Messenger that weren’t available for download via Google Play may want to try the new release as well. It only brings some bug fixes and performance improvements.
WhatsApp Messenger 2.9.6338 is now available as a free download via Softpedia and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
