It brings even more bug fixes and performance improvements

Android enthusiasts and WhatsApp fans rejoice, as owners of the amazingly popular instant messaging service have just delivered a new update for the Android client.

It’s only been a day since WhatsApp Messenger received a minor update and developers have pushed another version of their application on their official site.

Although it’s not a major release, those who wish to be up to date with the latest changes should go ahead and download the last version that’s been posted at WhatsApp official site.

Keep in mind that this is still a work in progress, so you might find some minor bugs. Speaking of which, the latest update contains some miscellaneous bug fixes, as well as performance and translation improvements.

WhatsApp Messenger 2.9.6266 is now available as a free download via Softpedia and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
