Sunnyvale, California-based NVIDIA, one of the world's leading vendors of high-performance graphics solutions, has just released its new GeForce/ION drivers, version 195.62. The new drivers, which are WHQL-certified, deliver support for the company's latest products, while also providing a couple of extra features that should ultimately improve the user visual experience on GeForce products. In addition, the new drivers include WHQL-certified support for Adobe's Flash 10.1 beta, on NVIDIA's GPUs, a feature that was available with the release of the Beta 195.55, last week.

According to the release notes of the new WHQL-certified drivers, users will be dealing with the same support as enabled by the company's previously released GeForce 195.55 Beta Drivers. To name the most significant, the new release offers support for Adobe Flash 10.1 beta, which we tested a while back, and driver support for the company's latest GeForce GT240. But for a better look into what the new release offers, be sure to check out the highlights, below:

Adds support for OpenCL 1.0 (Open Computing Language) for all GeForce 8-series and later GPUs. Adds support for CUDA Toolkit 3.0 features and performance enhancements. See CUDA Zone for more details. Adds SLI and multi-GPU support for many top new gaming titles including Borderlands, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, FIFA Soccer 10, and more. Includes numerous bug fixes including improved performance for Need for Speed: Shift. Refer to the release notes on the documentation tab for information about the key bug fixes in this release.

The new drivers are supported by the company's GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, 100 and 200-series of desktop GPUs and ION desktop GPUs, according to NVIDIA. They are available for download through the company's website, or right here on Softpedia, following the links below:
