14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft continues to add to the impressive collection of personalization content it is offering to customers running the latest iteration of its Windows client.
Windows 7 users can now download a new theme for their operating system, containing a set of wallpapers featuring images of horses.
Animal lovers will undoubtedly find the latest theme pack uploaded to the Windows Personalization Gallery superb.
Of course, the Windows 7 Horses theme can be downloaded free of charge. The same is valid for the entire collection of theme packs that the Redmond company is offering users on the Windows Personalization Gallery.
Recently, the software giant introduced an update to the Gallery’s website, a refresh which delivered better organization of the content.
In this regard, the Animals tab allows easy access to a range of themes, featuring cats, dogs, how horses, but also tigers and wolves.
In fact, the Windows 7 Wolves theme is still pretty fresh itself, having been offered this summer, and being still featured under the new themes category.
Customers need to make sure they revisit the Windows Personalization Gallery at least from time to time, or risk losing out on great content like the new Horses theme.
Although the theme pack is tailored to Windows 7 specifically, being the only OS on which it will actually install, customers running other operating systems including Windows Vista and Windows XP cam also take advantage of the content.
All archivers are capable of opening up theme pack files, and extracting the contents. Users will be able to grab the wallpapers and then set them as their desktop backgrounds, irrespective of the fact that they’re running Windows 7 or another operating system altogether.
