“It has been a very exciting year since we first launched our Android applications at Google I/O last year.” Ilya Eliashevsky, Android product manager, DataViz, Inc., said. “We now have over 750,000 customers who have downloaded Documents To Go through Android Market and 7 new OEM partners pre-installing our solutions on their Android-based handsets. Moving forward, we feel confident that version 3.0 will take mobile Office productivity to the next level for businesses, professionals, students and casual users alike.”

Documents To Go 3.0 is expected to offer users the possibility to view and edit Microsoft Office 2010 files, or to transfer files from a computer to an Android-based handset over a USB cable. Moreover, one will find it easy to view, edit, create, delete, back up or send files from a centralized application with the new Document File Browser & Manager, not to mention that PDF To Go, which is included in the application, sports new features.

Documents To Go offers localized versions in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Arabic, Japanese, traditional and simplified Chinese, and can be used on any mobile phone running under Google's Android 1.5 platform or higher. Documents To Go 3.0 will arrive as a free solution on the Android Market and at DataViz in a few weeks, while the full version will be offered for a limited-time price of $14.99 (down from the usual $29.99). Those who own the app already will be able to upgrade to the new solution for free.
