14 DAY TRIAL // Dina Lohan made a complete fool of herself with her recently aired interview with Dr. Phil but she maintains she is nothing like how she seemed in that video. Moreover, she wants a do-over.
As we also reported some days ago, Dina sat down with Dr. Phil for an interview that would not only open the conversation on domestic abuse but also reveal the truth about her and her difficult life.
It turns out it did neither, but merely attracted negative attention to Dina once more.
TMZ has learned that she’s confident a second interview with the same Dr. Phil would set the record straight once and for all and, at the same time, prove just how misunderstood she is.
“Dina Lohan is telling friends she knows she looked like a total trainwreck in her recent Dr. Phil interview – but she insists she's not an out-of-control drunk... and she wants to prove it in a SECOND Dr. Phil interview,” TMZ reports.
Dina thinks the footage that aired last week is not “a good representation of her” so she wants a second chance to show the real Dina to the entire world.
“Dina says she was in an extremely emotional state during the interview – she says she was taken off guard by questions about Lindsay's drug habits and Michael Lohan's alleged abuse,” the report goes on to mention.
Nevertheless, as we also informed you on a previous occasion, all of the questions Dr. Phil asked Dina had been pre-approved by her management, so this claim that some threw her off balance doesn’t really make sense.
“We're told Dina has reached out to Dr. Phil for a do-over to prove she's not ‘the worst mother in America’,” TMZ goes on to say.
No word yet on whether Dr. Phil is considering having her on the show another time but, considering the kind of publicity he got with the first round, we can’t imagine why he wouldn’t.
