NVIDIA has finally managed to launch its highly anticipated GeForce GTX 400 series of graphics adapters and, despite the mixed reviews it received, its manufacturing partners, as well as gaming PC suppliers, are hard at work integrating the new cards in their product portfolio. Origin and CoolIT have already unveiled their respective offerings and, now, Digital Storm is joining the party with an updated Black|Ops.

Like its competitors, Digital Storm has simply added the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470 and GTX 480 to the list of available graphics options. Enthusiasts will be able to reach new performance heights, especially if they choose to include more than a single card. NVIDA optimized SLI performance, allowing up to 90% performance increase in dual GPU configurations, which makes such options all the more appealing to end-users. Depending on the depth of their pockets, consumers can add either one or two identical Fermi cards.

"With the integration of Nvidia's GTX 470 and 480 GPUs, codenamed Fermi, gamers can now run the most graphic intensive applications on their Black|OPS machine and witness the most visually stunning gaming experience ever," explained Digital Storm spokesperson Rajeev Kuruppu. "Nvidia's GTX 480 is without question the most powerful GPU ever built. The integration of these new cards into our Black|OPS platform (base price with GTX 480: $2,891) results in unprecedented graphical performance and truly the most visually immersive gaming experience ever."

When customizing their system, purchasers will have a wide variety of CPUs, memory solutions and other features to choose from that will complement the high capabilities of the new adapters, though this also means a significant budget is necessary to acquire any version of the machine. The Performance configuration, with a single GTX 470 adapter, has a price tag of $2,244. This can go up, to $3659, when a pair of GTX 480 is opted for. Details can be found on the company's official website.
