It’s been such a long time that Lindsay Lohan has not starred in a critically or commercially successful film, getting media attention solely for her personal life, that even she has started to think that perhaps a career change was in order. Consequently, the star is considering going into fashion, desperate that offers for movie parts are no longer coming her way and she can no longer afford her current lifestyle, it has recently emerged.

After speaking with Nylon magazine and revealing that she is not working on any movie at the moment, La Lohan, as she’s dubbed in the media, has come up with the conclusion that modeling is the only way to go at this point. Thus, she’s telling the same mag that she would simply love to be signed up with a modeling agency – but just any agency wouldn’t do as it has to be the one that also signed the likes of Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell, IMG.

“I love doing photo shoots,” the actress says. “I mean, if I could just sign with IMG and do ad campaigns and model more, I’d do that… because that’s fun for me. That’s not work.” Lohan reveals. In all fairness, it has been said, she would probably do a fine job at it too, since she’s not a stranger to modeling for several fashion advertising campaigns, that for Fornarina being only the most recent. Modeling on the catwalk is, though, an entirely different thing, it has been said; and it’s here that Lindsay really has her work cut out for her.

Luckily, IMG also got word of the star’s intentions and is speaking out on her future (possible) career change. They will have her if she really has her heart set on becoming a model, Senior Vice President of IMG Models Ivan Bart says for OK! Magazine. “She’s a beautiful girl and obviously knows a lot about fashion. Providing that she was contractually free, we would take a meeting.” Mr. Bart adds.

Given that just the other day Lindsay was telling Nylon that she was hard up for cash – in more or less words – and without a possibility of cashing a paycheck in the immediate future, a modeling contract seems highly likely at this point, it has been noted. “It’s scary when you realize, ‘Oh my God, I’m not working. And I have a house to pay for now.’… and there’s been some things I’ve really wanted to do.” Lohan says in the latest issue of Nylon magazine.
