Mobile phone carrier T-Mobile notes on its website that the new Dell Streak 7 tablet PC would be 'amazingly priced' and, although no official info on what that might be all about emerged, some rumors on the possible cost of the device have already made it into the wild. Apparently, the tablet PC might be priced at $329.99 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement with the wireless carrier. [It seems that all is only a technical error. A recent article on StreakSmart is the one to unveil this, based on info found in the fine print at the bottom of T-Mobile's webpage dedicated to the upcoming Android-based device.

“$82.50 down payment, plus 3 monthly payments of $82.50, required,” the said page reads, pointing at the Equipment Installment plan, through which one can pay for a phone “in four interest-free installments.”

Based on the price tag the Galaxy Tab sports on the carrier's network, namely $349.99 after a mail-in rebate and with the said contract agreement, this supposition on Streak 7's cost might easily pan out.

However, since nothing was confirmed on this, there is also the possibility that the fine print on the said page was nothing more than some leftover text from another page, StreakSmart notes.

Hopefully, it wasn't, and the Dell Streak 7 will indeed hit the shelves at T-Mobile with a $329.99 price tag attached to it.

Given the specs of this device, T-Mobile would indeed say it was amazingly priced if the rumor pans out.

The Dell Streak 7 arrives on the market with a dual core 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor inside, as well as with a 7 inch WVGA touch screen with Gorilla Glass, a 5 megapixel photo snapper on the back, and a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front.

Moreover, it would include 16 GB of internal memory, complemented by a microSD memory card for up to 32 GB of additional storage space. Streak 7 runs under Google's Android 2.2 Froyo operating system, with Dell's Stage UI on top.

Update: Apparently, the listing is merely a technical error. Here's what T-Mobile says on the matter: "The Dell Streak 7 pricing information that appears on T-Mobile’s web site is the result of a technical error and is incorrect. [...] The Streak 7 will be available from T-Mobile in the coming weeks and we will share pricing and availability details in the near future – stay tuned!"
