It looks like Dell has troubles delivering most of its mobile devices that were supposed to strengthen the company's presence on the mobile market.

The last on Dell's list of postponed mobile devices is the Streak 7 tablet, which was delayed until May 12th, though the device was slated for an earlier April 28th release.

Just like the manufacturer's Venue Pro WP7 (Windows Phone 7) smartphone, which was pushed back several times before being launched on the market, the Streak 7 may not be available tomorrow as Dell's official website suggests.

The reasons behind the two weeks delay are unclear, but, just like in Venue Pro's case, it may have something to do with the tablet's software.

Unfortunately, Dell Venue Pro owners still experience issues with their devices, even after Microsoft's latest Windows Phone 7 software update that was deployed recently.

However, Dell is trying to counter the disappointment of its potential customers who were expecting the Streak 7 two weeks ago, with a price cut.

Dell Streak 7 will be available for purchase for only $399.99 from Dell Canada's webstore. The tablet's price used to be $449.99, $50 higher than the current price.

Equipped with a powerful dual core 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, Dell Streak 7 is powered by Android 2.2 Froyo operating system.

Dell has yet to announce any plans of upgrading the tablet's mobile platform to Honeycomb, but this is a bit unlikely to happen if the Streak 7 won't be positively received on the market.

Android 2.2 is not designed to work on larger displays, thus the Streak 7 may be considered outdated when it comes to software.

Those who intend to purchase the Dell Streak 7 should know that the manufacturer offers free shipping and 1-year limited warranty and 1-year return to depot service.
