Namco Bandai has announced that Dead to Rights: Retribution, which has just been launched, will be enhanced through the launch of a downloadable content package, called the GAC Pack, set to be delivered via the Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Store on May 26. Exclusive content initially only offered to those who preordered the game will be included in this new DLC.

The GAC Pack should feature two new full-featured game modes. The first one is Assault on the 87th Precinct and allows players to take on the role of the bad guys as they aim to destroy the members of the Grant City Anti-Crime. Players can choose to be the Brawler, the Tank or the Sniper as they assault the Grant City Police Department in order to take down all police officers standing in their way.

The second mode is Riot Control Mode and features original game protagonists Jack and Shadow as they battle wave after wave of enemies. Points are awarded to players based on the speed and style of their kills and leaderboards are offered for the best players.

Players who get their hands on the GAC Pack will also enjoy new armor options for Jack and a new stealth camouflage skin for canine companion Shadow. They will also be able to turn on a new Noir Mode, which applies a graphic filter featuring only black, white and red and enter an Action Mode, built around the use of explosive firearm rounds.

Olivier Comte, the vice president of Marketing, sales and publishing at Namco Bandai, stated, “We’ve completely rebooted the Dead to Rights franchise to deliver a satisfying, visceral and action-packed gameplay experience for existing fans and new gamers. We’re boosting the action up another notch with an accessibly priced DLC pack filled with all new missions and game-enhancing bonus content.”
