Isaac Clarke, the main character from Visceral Games' Dead Space series, shows up in another one of Electronic Arts' published games. His first appearance outside the Dead Space universe was in Visceral's latest game, Dante's Inferno, as a playable character. This time around, the placement is a bit unusual, as the players are able to use Clarke to perform various tricks in Skate 3.

The owners of Skate 3 can unlock Isaac by entering the code “DEADSPACETOO” in the game's menu. He will skate and do ollies, grabs and turns in his full-on space armor. This is obviously a move that is meant to promote the upcoming Visceral title, Dead Space 2.

Skate 3 was developed by EA Black Box, an internal studio of Electronic Arts. It already came out on the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3 on the 11th of May 2010. The game features two new difficulty modes for fans to enjoy, that is an Easy Mode for the new players to accommodate themselves with the control scheme and a Hardcore Mode to please old followers of the series. A new addition promoted by the developers is a level editor called skate.Park that permits users to easily create new environments. The multiplayer modes are also expanded and refined.

EA Black Box is working on two new Need for Speed installments. Need for Speed World is developed in conjunction with EA Shanghai and will be a racing MMO only for the PC. The other NFS title will be resuming the street racing theme that disappeared with Undercover and was given an extended development window by EA to ensure better quality. The studio is also responsible with the new direction The Sims games have taken after the departure of the series' creator, Will Wright. The new expansion for The Sims 3, entitled Ambitions, is set for release at the beginning of June, this year.
