David Beckham Confirms He and Victoria Are Expecting a Girl

Great news for the Beckhams – coming straight from the Beckhams: they are expecting a baby girl. Victoria is now pregnant with her fourth child and, as earlier rumors also had it, it’s a baby girl.

Victoria has repeatedly spoken about her desire to have a baby girl, especially since she’s the only woman in the Beckham household.

She will soon get to see her dream come true, as she’s expecting a girl, David has confirmed in a press conference, as cited by USA Today.

Understandably, they’re over the moon at the thought of it.

“We’re still in shock. Obviously, having three boys, you kind of expect another one, so finding out a little girl is in there is surprising, but, obviously, we are over the moon,” David said.

He and Victoria are not the only ones to be so thrilled at the thought of having a daughter: their sons too are eager to welcome her into the family.

“Our three boys are happy and excited, and Victoria is doing well,” David added.

In a recent interview taken at the launch of her latest fashion collection, Victoria addresses rumors that she was pregnant with a girl, saying that she didn’t know yet the gender of the child.

However, she did say that she would be happy with another boy, since both she and David already had plenty of experience as far as raising one goes.

Of course, that’s not to say that she ever stopped dreaming of a daughter, as we also pointed out at the time.

“I can go on the record and say contrary to rumors, I do not know the sex of my baby! We know what to do with boys. [The boys are] excited about having a little brother to teach how to play soccer...” she said.

“But, if it’s a girl, we’d be over the moon as well,” added Victoria in the same interview.
