Officials revealed that a 14-year-old boy charged with the brutal death of his teacher in Danvers went to the movie after the murder.

Philip Chism has pleaded not guilty to the killing of 24-year-old high-school teacher Colleen Ritzer, ABC reports. He will be tried in an adult court.

Police found blood at Danvers High School after she was reported missing on Tuesday. They then found her body in the woods behind the school.

Chism's family also reported him missing, and he was found walking north in the southbound lane on Route One, at 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

"[He] might have been upset, you know teenagers go through that. He's 14, growing up still. That's the only thing that I can imagine. That's the only think that I can imagine because I can't imagine anything else. It's like a story-book kid. Perfect family," his uncle, Terrance Chism Blaine, describes.

Chism watched "Blue Jasmine" by Woody Allen after the crime.
