14 DAY TRIAL // A little over a week after giving birth, Christine Marinoni and partner Cynthia Nixon are showing off the latest addition to the family, son Max. The photo shows the two partners smiling for the camera, while cradling the baby.
As we also reported at the time, Christine gave birth at the beginning of the month. Confirmation of it came on February 10 – quite as a shock, since no one knew they were expecting.
As Us Magazine puts it, the two have been together since 2004, and are engaged since 2009. In previous interviews, Cynthia praised Christine as a mother, so it was only natural for them to want to have a baby on their own as well.
No word yet on who the father is, but chances of that coming out in the press are slim to none, judging by how fiercely private the couple is.
“Cynthia Nixon, 44, and fiancee Christine Marinoni released the first picture of their son, Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni, yesterday,” Us writes.
“Marinoni, 43, gave birth to the babe last Monday, and the couple, who began dating in 2004 and announced their engagement in 2009, have not made public any details of the baby’s biological father,” the celebrity mag further says.
“Nixon has two children – Samantha, 15, and Charles, 8 – from her previous relationship with Danny Mozes,” Us says.
As noted above, in previous interviews, Cynthia said that part of Christine’s charm was that she was so amazing with the kids, making the family truly complete.
“Maybe I’m just lucky, but I feel like Christine is so amazing with our kids — because they’re our kids,” she said for The Advocate, as cited by the aforementioned publication.
“I feel like falling in love with her is part of being amazed at how she makes our family so much better,” she added.
Whether the two also plan on doing a celebrity magazine cover with newborn son Max is yet to be determined. Rest assured you will find out about it here if they do.
