Crysis 2 has been out for a week now and even if there are some issues with its gameplay, specifically its multiplayer mode, you can still enjoy the pretty long single-player campaign.

While the story is a bit too convoluted for its own good, the gameplay is what actually matters, and Crysis 2 allows you to go through it in a variety of ways.

You can use the armor mode of the nanosuit which you wear in the game to add extra resistance and go in guns blazing, but, at least in my opinion, it's much better to have a stealthy approach through the game.

The nanosuit has a special Cloak mode, which renders you pretty much invisible, and, if you don't get really close to any enemies, they'll never know where you are.

Couple that to a variety of sniping positions found in many of its open areas, and you have a recipe for a very fun time.

You can sit, cloaked of course, in your sniping position, and just pick off every enemy one by one, popping in and out of cover to deliver the deadly bullet.

The feeling you get is something close to how a Predator might have felt in the movie and even in the series of Alien vs. Predator games, at least up to a certain point.

The cloak mode is also handy in difficult firefights, as you can quickly duck behind some cover, and enemies will continue to fire on that position, go invisible and then sneak up to their position and deliver devastating melee attacks or, as you can later in the game, providing you unlock the ability, do massive ground slam attacks that cause area of effect damage.

Crysis 2 can be played in multiple ways, with the invisible predator being my favorite, but I'll also talk about other modes throughout this diary series, so keep your eyes peeled on the games section of Softpedia.
