November 23, when Susan Boyle releases her debut album in the UK (the US to follow on the 24th) is still some distance away, but hype has already started building. After much talk that the singer is in negotiations with producers for a surprise appearance on X Factor that will coincide with the release date of the material, the cover for the much-anticipated “I Dreamed a Dream” has been made available, as Marie Claire can confirm.

Those fans who might find the photo used for the cover rings a bell with them should know that the shot is not new, having already been employed by Harper’s Bazaar in the exclusive Susan Boyle number, which also featured her fabulous makeover from regular Jane to glamorous diva.
However, the cover truly stands out for the obvious lack of retouching done to the picture, which only makes this particular singer seem all the more accessible to the public, the aforementioned publication points out.

“Susan, 48, looks natural and un-airbrushed on the cover of the album, which uses the soft black and white shot taken by US Harper’s Bazaar. SuBo’s also right on trend with a black sequined jumper.” Marie Claire writes. The mag also says that “I Dreamed a Dream” continues to be a favorite with buyers on websites like Amazon.com (where it’s available for pre-orders), while also being poised to become a Christmas popular material, given the release date and tracks included on it.

Speaking of tracks, we were also telling you a few days ago that the official tracklisting for “I Dreamed a Dream” had been made available, and it included a potentially winning combination of covers and tracks written especially for Britain’s Got Talent runner-up, the singer who shot to fame in just hours thanks to the Internet. Also on the album is a cover of Rolling Stones’ classic “Wild Horses,” which has already been released as a single and performed by Susan on America’s Got Talent in what was her first-ever live gig in the US.

The “I Dreamed a Dream” album includes the following tracks: “Wild Horses,” “I Dreamed a Dream,” “Cry Me a River,” “How Great Thou Art,” “You’ll See,” “Daydream Believer,” “Up to the Mountain,” “Amazing Grace,” “Who I Was Born to Be,” “Proud,” “The End of the World,” and “Silent Night.” As also noted above, it arrives in music stores on November 23 in the UK and one day later in the US.
