Rumor has it that Tori Spelling’s husband of 7 years Dean McDermott has been cheating on her with randoms whichever chance he gets. As of last Christmas, the two are said to going through a major crisis – and, come April 22, fans of both stars will be made privy to their marital issues thanks to a new Lifetime docuseries.

If there’s a reason why Tori never addressed the cheating and divorce rumors in any way, even though she usually doesn’t miss a chance to set the record straight, that’s because she was holding out for the series.

A tabloid report from last week called it but, back then, it was just a rumor.

Lifetime has confirmed the TV special, which will be called True Tori and will premiere on April 22. It will include 6 hour-long episodes, which will premiere 3 weeks after the cameras start rolling and will focus exclusively on Tori’s attempts at saving her marriage to Dean after his brief stint in rehab.

Lifetime calls it a “unique television event” and even goes as far as to label the former “Beverly Hills 90210” for offering access to cameras into her life at a time when she must feel at her most vulnerable. Some would argue that she’s just desperate for money and attention, not courageous.

“Tori has made the courageous decision to allow the audience to witness the most difficult and unpredictable period in her life. Intimate, raw, emotional and completely real, Tori will tell her story for the first time as it should be told – by her,” Lifetime says.

“Since viewers will be seeing events almost immediately after they occur, nobody knows how the drama will unfold – not Tori, not Dean – and only time will tell if Tori and Dean's marriage survives,” the network adds.

Earlier this year, after some weeks of speculation about the state of their marriage and his faithfulness, Dean announced he’d be checking into rehab for “some health and personal issues.” If we’re to believe the glossies and the insiders feeding them stories, his cheating had gotten so much out of hand, it had actually turned into full-blown addiction.

He has now completed treatment and is said to be back with Tori, with whom he has 4 children. The same “insiders” claim that he’s dying to make her understand how sorry he is for the way he’s acted and has even suggested they renew their wedding vows on their 8th wedding anniversary this May, an idea that Tori fancies quite a lot.

Our money goes on that they do renew their wedding vows and the ceremony will be included on the docuseries finale. What do you think?
