The Chinese manufacturer Colorful has just announced the introduction of its iGame GeForce GTX 560 Ti graphics card that is based on Nvidia's recently released GF114 core and features a custom PCB as well as an in-house designed cooling system.

All the modifications made to Nvidia's reference board allowed Colorful to raise the operating frequencies of the card, the core now running at 900MHz while the memory is set at 4200MHz.

A switch that is placed on the back panel of the board allows users to change between the standard and overclocked BIOS setting, this switch also acting as a failsafe measure for those times when the card refuses to power after a failed OC attempt.

However, the most interesting changes brought by Colorful to the card can be seen once the PCB is revealed as the card now features a 6+1 power phase design (six phases power the GPU while the seventh is used for the memory chips), the Chinese company also adding a heatsink to the VRMs as well as a proadlizer.

Proadlizers are a special type of capacitors that are used in order to stabilize the power that is delivered to the board further increasing its overclocking potential.

This is placed on the back of the board and is covered by a metal plate.

Also on the back, Colorful has placed a series of voltage measurement point that can be easily accessed even during intensive benchmarking sessions.

The cooling assembly is made out of two aluminum heatsinks, which together measure about 20cm, nickel plated heatpipes being used in order to draw the heat away from the CPU.

One of the heatsinks also spans over the top edge of the card in an L shape manner.

The whole cooling system is covered by a plastic shroud, two PWM controller coolers dissipating the heat produced while in operation.

Colorful's iGame560-1024 D5 Ymir GPU is available right now in Asia, Europe getting it after the Chinese New Year festivities are over.
