Together with the announcement of its new music mobile service, Cingular has launched a compatible phone, the Samsung SGH-A707 aka Cingular SYNC, a phone having a Cingular Music dedicated key that will instantly connect the user to the Cingular Music portal, a place from where he (or she) has easy access to every type of music he may desire to listen.

The quad band GSM mobile phone will work on 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz networks and will also be compatible with 3G UMTS/HSPDA (on 850 and 1900 MHz networks), at the same time being capable of delivering super high data transfer speeds with the help of the EDGE/GPRS connectivity feature.

Being a true multimedia phone, the Cingular SYNC will have external touch sensitive music keys, an MP3 player, a microSD expansion memory card slot to give the user enough storage space for all his favorite multimedia content, wireless Bluetooth 2.0 which comes with stereo support, a 262k colors 2.2 inch QVGA display with a 320x240 pixels resolution, a speakerphone, a 2 megapixel digital camera with flash and capable of capturing up to 1 hour long video clips, mobile instant messaging with support for the Yahoo, AOL and MSN protocols and many other features that make it the ideal candidate to go together with the Cingular Music and Video newly launched mobile service.

This phone will be available in the Cingular stores at a 49.99 $ price if you sign a two year service agreement and after a mail-in rebate of 100 $.
