There is one thing that US carriers, including Cingular have failed to offer their customers up until now when it comes to the Motorola RAZR.

For one reason or the other, the RAZR family - released quite a while ago and a pretty old one on the market - is still extremely popular, maybe due to the handsets' metallic slim cases and nice and shiny keypads.

Customers were able to get themselves quite a few varieties of the RAZR, with 3G like the v3xx, the red version that would help fight AIDS in Africa or the very affordable version, W220.

Now AT&T/Cingular is bringing a bling gold Motorola v3xx coming with 3G capabilities and a better resolution.

The phone sports a 1.3 megapixel camera with 8x zoom, video and audio playback, Bluetooth for connectivity with stereo headset support, Cingular Video capabilities and enhanced speech recognition.

Users will also be able to download content such as music or videos at ultra fast UMTS speeds and store the files on a MicroSD memory card that can be used with the handset.

It also includes a 2.2 inch TFT display with a QVGA (240 x 320 pixels) resolution, instant messaging, mobile email capabilities and an Opera web browser. This is not for your average user though; it's for people that like their mobile phones to be flashy and to really stand out in the crowd. Users that don't like flashy phones are better off with the Charcoal version.

Those specific users that would like to get their hands on a golden v3xx will be able to do so for the price of $99.99 on a two-year contract after a mail in rebate.
