14 DAY TRIAL // She’s been named the hourglass woman of the year, one of the most attractive and confident female celebrities out there, while also being a role model for the average lady because she’s not stick thin. Yet, Christina Hendricks is not yet ready to show it all off on camera.
According to sources cited by ShowbizSpy, the “Mad Men” star is being literally assaulted with offers for more revealing roles – but she’s turning all of them down.
Given the kind of media exposure she enjoys right now and how much praise she gets for her curves and the pride she takes in them, it’s no wonder producers would want her to show more of said curves on screen.
In fact, she’s already been approached with several offers for parts that would have her do just that; sadly for fans hoping to see more of Christina (literally), she’s determined to keep all her clothes on for the time being.
“Christina is riding the crest of a wave right now and the offers are flooding in,” a source close to the gorgeous actress reveals.
“She would love to do more movies and is in the process of considering projects to tie in with the show’s hiatus,” the same insider dishes.
Sadly, most of these parts include at least one scene where Christina would be shown sans clothes, which is why she’s already turned them down.
“Clearly everyone wants to see more of Christina but she doesn’t want to be over exposed in the wrong way,” the spy reveals.
After all, she’s barely come to terms with the attention she started getting a while back for her curves, somehow to the detriment of her accomplishments as an actress.
“It kind of hurt my feelings at first. Anytime someone talks about your figure constantly, you get nervous, you get really self-conscious,” the actress told New York Magazine in the issue that crowned her “Woman of the Hourglass.”
“I was working my [backside] off on the show, and then all anyone was talking about was my body!” the actress stressed in the same interview.
Since people are already focusing on her body, thus perhaps not paying enough attention to her work as an actress, the last thing Hendricks would need right now would be even more attention to it by baring it all off on camera.
