Not much is known about Chris Nolan’s next film, “Interstellar,” except for a brief synopsis and the A-list cast, so interest in it has been high since he started working on it. The official website (US-only, for the time being), Twitter, and Facebook have just gone live.

That’s the good news today because, with this, some details other than what we already know are bound to be revealed. The bad news is that, even with all this, we still don’t know anything more about the movie right now.

The website and the accompanying social media accounts only show the photo that you can also see above: it might be rather ominous and pretty, but it says nothing about the film.

In “Interstellar,” “A group of explorers make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage.” The script was written by Christopher and Jonathan Nolan, with the former also handling directorial duties.

The impressive cast includes Nolan regulars Anne Hathaway and Michael Caine (no Christian Bale or Tom Hardy though), but also newcomers Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain, Wes Bentley, Casey Affleck, Ellen Burstyn, Mackenzie Foy, Topher Grace, and John Lythgow.

The film will be out in November 2014 and, even though Nolan is known for how secretive he is whenever he’s working on something new, some details should emerge in the days to come, so keep an eye on this space for when they do.
