In recent months, presumably because of the serious damage that his public image took following the Rihanna February incident, Chris Brown has made a habit of keeping his fans up-to-date with the latest developments on his upcoming album via Twitter. It is through the same channel that the star also announced his upcoming single, which is expected to drop in the following weeks, as AceShowbiz can confirm.

Brown has been working hard on what is seen as his “comeback” album, “Graffiti,” and fans will get to have a first taste of it once the aforementioned single drops. While the star himself would not reveal specifics on it in the Twitter chat with his fans, speculation in the media has it that it will be called “Transformers” (no relation to Michael Bay’s blockbuster film has been established so far), and will represent a collaboration with rap mogul Lil Wayne.

Before making the announcement on the single, Brown offered even more incentive to his fans, Tweeting more details on the future album, all in caps. “Graffiti!!!! Comin soon… Just finished it… hands down… My best album… That’s all I’mma give away right now… I honestly don’t think the game is ready for the recordz I got coming off the new album… (not tryna be cocky)!!!! LOL.” Brown wrote on his Twitter page, as per the aforementioned publication.

Moreover, AceShowbiz informs, this is not all on Chris’ music agenda. “On who will be involved in the studio project, it is speculated that Keri Hilson will also lend her vocal to one of the songs in the set. Producers / songwriters Scott Storch, Robert Allen and The Runners will also make contribution. Beside working on his own effort, Chris recently helped Keri shooting a music video for her single ‘Slow Down.’ He will possibly share screen with Omarion, Monica and The Pussycat Dolls’ Melody Thornton in the video.” the publication writes.

By all means, this should put to rest ongoing speculation in the media that Chris Brown is considering going country, if not for the entire upcoming album, at least for the first single off it, industry insiders claim. Since a release date for the rumored “Transformers” single has not yet been set, do keep an eye on this space for more on this.
