Putting behind her the X Factor debacle of earlier this year, Cheryl Cole is looking to make a splashing return to the scene, this time with a brand new music album. In a bid to break the US market for once and for all, she’s enlisted the help of some heavy collaborators, it has emerged.

One of them is Justin Bieber himself, an unnamed source is quoted by Digital Spy as saying. The two are now in talks to deliver a “hit” for Cheryl’s third studio material.

“Cheryl is beyond excited about her new album and Bieber’s team are deep in talks with hers to make a hit,” the insider reportedly said.

will.i.am, who is overseeing Cheryl’s career, is reportedly very eager to get Usher (Justin’s mentor) to agree to a collaboration, since it’s bound to be a hit.

“[They] got together to make ‘O.M.G’ – just think what they could do with their protégés,” the spy further says.

Such a collaboration would also fit in with will.i.am’s plans and vision for Cheryl’s album, adds the same unnamed source – not to mention the amount of publicity it would get for having Bieber’s name on it.

“They already see Cheryl and will.i.am as part of the family. Will’s got a vision for her album, and now the biggest and the best names are keen to be part of it,” the spy explains.

These other huge names that are rumored to be making appearances on the upcoming album include David Guetta and Grammy-winning producer Alex Da Kid.

For the time being, not much is known of Cheryl’s upcoming album – at least, not on the official channels.

Word online has it that she’s already hard at work in the studio with Alex Da Kid, but a release date, even estimated, is yet to be revealed to the press.
