She’s repeatedly denied reports that she’s a diva but it seems that Cher Lloyd is quite difficult to be around backstage at X Factor – even Cheryl Cole can’t stand her anymore.

The 17-year-old cutie has been forced to speak out and rubbish reports in the media, some of which claimed she had an eating problems, while others had to do with her temperament.

Just yesterday, she admitted to throwing a mini-fit before the live show last weekend, when the official X Factor stylist tried to make her take the stage into something she wasn’t comfortable wearing.

Still, she insisted, it was fashion-related – that is to say, she wasn’t being mean for nothing. As it turns out, her temperament is only getting worse, Digital Spy says, citing reports in the British media.

Things with Cher have gotten so bad and she’s so unmanageable that even her mentor is growing rather tired of her tantrums, especially since she (Cher) is disrespecting her (Cheryl).

“According to the Daily Star, Cole has lost patience with the 17-year-old singer because of her ‘diva tantrums’ and ‘grumpy attitude’,” Digital Spy writes.

“A source claims to have heard Joe McElderry criticizing Lloyd at a promotional event, where he apparently revealed that she had fallen out with her mentor over her stage outfit on the first live show,” the same e-zine notes.

“Joe was stunned by it all. He was in Cheryl’s dressing room when Cher barged in. She was in a right strop. Joe said he couldn’t believe how this girl talked to Cheryl and the lack of respect,” the insider is quoted as saying.

If one puts two and two together, it’s easy to see this is the same incident that Cher owned up to, the only difference being that it didn’t quite go down as she said it did.

The spy now calling her a diva says Cheryl advised the X Factor hopeful to go back, wear her costume as told and smile for the camera so as to not lose viewers’ votes.

Cher, on the other hand, told the media yesterday that Cheryl gladly helped her out of her predicament, even lending her shoes to go with her outfit, which was taken from her own wardrobe (Cher’s).

“I had a bit of a meltdown earlier in the week. But I just couldn’t go on stage in something I felt uncomfortable in. So these are my own clothes, I styled myself. Well, actually, shh, these are Cheryl’s shoes. She lent them to me,” Cher said.
