Capcom is one of the biggest video game companies in the world, especially in its native Japan. It owns a lot of profitable and world-famous franchises, from the likes of Street Fighter or Resident Evil to Mega Man or Monster Hunter.

In order to further capitalize on its huge portfolio of older titles and to bank on the recent trend of releasing revamped games for the current generation platform, the company has just announced that it will be releasing Capcom Classics Collection: Remixed, which is, basically, a bundle of old, but extremely popular, games from the Japanese company.

Today, Capcom fans will definitely have a lot of memories brought back by this pack, as it will debut with a selection of titles almost every gamer can recognize, like Bionic Commando, Avengers or Final Fight. Here is the complete list of games that will appear today on the PlayStation Network:

• 1941: Counter Attack; • Avengers; • Bionic Commando; • Black Tiger; • Block Block; • Captain Commando; • Final Fight; • Forgotten Worlds; • Last Duel; • Legendary Wings; • Magic Sword; • Mega Twins; • Quiz and Dragons; • Section Z; • Side Arms: Hyper Dyne; • The Speed Rumbler; • Street Fighter; • Strider; • Three Wonders; • Varth.

Also, later this year, PlayStation 3 users will receive a pack filled with PlayStation 1 and PSP titles customized for their platform:

• Mega Man Powered Up; • Dino Crisis; • Power Stone Collection; • Mega Man Maverick Hunter X; • Resident Evil 2; • Darkstalkers; • Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max; • Resident Evil 3: Nemesis; • Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded.

Overall, this is a pack almost every gamer can enjoy. Hopefully, more such things will be made available in order for newer players to profit by some truly wonderful experiences of yesteryears.
