Canon has been rumored for a while to work on a replacement for the current Rebel T3 / 1100D entry-level digital SLR, and it seems that today we get the chance to see what the new camera will actually look like.

Japanese website Digicameinfo has received from a trusted source a new photo that shows the body of the upcoming entry-level Canon EOS Kiss X70 / Rebel T4 / 1200D digital single lens reflex camera.

As you can see from the image above, the new model has a design similar with the current Kiss X50 / Rebel T3 / 1100D, with the texture of the grip and mode dial borrowed from the Kiss X7i / Rebel T5i / EOS 700D.

Not much is known about this new model but, according to the latest rumors, the new Canon entry-level DSLR will pack a 15MP image sensor, a bit larger than the current Rebel T3 / 1100D that features a 12.2MP CMOS APS-C image sensor.
