Some rumors on the possible launch of Windows Phone 7 on the market in the United States already emerged into the wild, but little is known so far on when the first devices running under Microsoft's platform would make an appearance north of the border, in Canada.

In case there were some Canadian enthusiasts greatly interested in when the new mobile operating system would make its way on the market in their country, they got an answer already, it seems, since the the launch would be simultaneous with the US one.

According to Microsoft Canada Mobility Solutions Manager Greg Milligan, this is what the Redmond-based company intends to do as soon as the first WP7 handsets are ready to land on users' hands, a recent article on WMPoweruser unveils.

Moreover, it seems that the Canadian and United States launch of Windows Phone 7 mobile phones would include devices coming from leading mobile phone makers, including LG, HTC and Samsung.

Other OEMs should also come up with their own solutions, though not at launch, it seems.

Dell would be one of these companies, set to launch Windows Phone 7 device before the end of the year, while others would release their handsets in 2011.

Various wireless carriers in Canada should support the launch of Windows Phone 7 products, and the same is expected to happen in the US too, though AT&T announced that it would be premier Windows Phone 7 operator.

Some info on the price tag of these handsets also emerged, including the fact that they are expected to cost between $99 and $199 in Canada on the three year contract terms.

All in all, it seems that the first Windows Phone 7 devices are expected to sport competitive price tags, though it remains to be seen what exactly would users have to wait for in the area.
