Treyarch, the development studio behind Call of Duty: Black Ops, is keeping extremely busy, and has just deployed patch 1.06 for the PC version of the game through Valve's Steam online digital content delivery service.

Call of Duty: Black Ops managed to break sales and profit records when it was launched back in November, and has just received its first downloadable content pack in the form of the First Strike map pack, which is a timed Xbox 360 exclusive.

Still, Treyarch is taking care of its other platforms, and, after saying that most of the PlayStation 3 versions of the game are working just fine, despite the voices of actual owners, has released a new patch for the PC edition of Black Ops.

The new patch takes the game up to version 1.06, and mainly focuses on multiplayer problems that have been reported by fans since the release of the previous update, which happened last month.

Check out some of the big issues targeted by the new update below:

-Backward compatibility for films created before Patch 1.05 -Issues with weapon purchases after prestiging in some cases -Leaving a server and joining a different server, could briefly show the Map of the previous server -Duplicate player name on a server now becomes playername+slotnumber instead of ‘Unknown Soldier’ -During a 'Demolition' match, the 'Auto-balancing teams' options may cause a 'Defender' player to respawn with a 'Bomb' icon in his inventory -Minor Shader Warming speed increase -One In The Chamber no longer counts democlient as a live player -16x AA menu option for compatible graphics cards -Additional Stability improvements.

Call of Duty: Black Ops has sold a huge amount of copies, and even if there were quite a few issues when it first came out, Treyarch released plenty of patches and updates in order to solve all of them.

The company revealed yesterday, through the voice of its community strategist, Josh Olin, that problems always arise when you're dealing with such a huge game, but that the development team is listening to all of the complaints and problems reported by players and will solve all of them if possible.

The new Call of Duty: Black Ops PC patch 1.06 will be automatically downloaded through Steam.
