Mobile phone manufacturer CECT, the first in China to develop smartphones and Mini PDA smartphones is now presenting a phone with an eastern design and a set of pretty interesting features.

Boasting an Eastern floral pattern, a shiny black color and a sleek design, the CECT IP1000 will most likely target female users. We have yet to see what opinion male users will have regarding the floral design this mobile phone comes with.

While the IP1000's looks will appeal to some and disappoint others, the phone's features will most likely not disappoint. The phone includes a 2.2 inch 260k touch-screen with a QVGA resolution, a 4 megapixel camera with auto focus and an electronic dictionary.

Users for whom music and video playback is very important when choosing a mobile phone will also most likely be interested in the CECT IP1000 that supports 24 hours of playtime for MP3 files, 12 hours for MP4 video files and can last up to 1000 hours in standby mode, which is either the reason why the phone was named IP1000 or simply a coincidence.

The Windows Mobile powered PDA also comes with a notepad and other functions you would expect in a device of this type. Equipped with good looks and a pretty impressive camera, as well as other features not worth neglecting, the CECT IP1000 should attract a decent amount of users in the end.

There is no information regarding the availability or price of this mobile phone, but as usual, it's safe to say that the CECT IP1000, like many mobile phones of this type, will be available only in Asia.
