Dancing With the Stars judge Bruno Tonioli put in an appearance on George Lopez and literally ripped Kate Gosselin to pieces for her performance on the current season of the ABC show. She’s so bad she makes watching doomsday movie “2012” seem like a walk in the park, Bruno says, in what People magazine deems a statement that would make even Mr. Nasty himself, Simon Cowell, proud.

It’s no longer a secret that Kate Gosselin is not really having the time of her life on DWTS, since both critics and audiences are panning her every dance – and with good cause, too, Bruno says. She should not be on the show because she’s doing a terrible job at it, the judge adds in more or less words. Nevertheless, for the sake of objectivity, Bruno admits that Mrs. Gosselin is truly admirable for how she handles all the criticism coming her way, and there’s plenty of that, rest assured.

“It’s a description that would have made Simon Cowell proud. Dancing With the Stars judge Bruno Tonioli didn’t hold back when discussing Kate Gosselin’s less-than-graceful moves on Wednesday’s Lopez Tonight: ‘Kate is pretty dreadful. She’s crap,’ he told host George Lopez. Tough reviews aside, the outspoken Italian admitted the mom of eight is ‘a tough cookie’ for facing all the criticism. ‘She gets it in the face, she comes back and she tries to get better,’ he said. ‘[But] it doesn’t really work’,” People magazine writes.

“Tonioli also said Gosselin, who has squabbled with partner Tony Dovolani, turns the show into ‘our own disaster movie’ on a daily basis. ‘2012 is nothing compared to the catastrophe she produces,’ he said,” the mag further says. Surprisingly though, as much as he dislikes Kate, Bruno loves Pamela Anderson. “I thought [she] was going to be terrible [and] all she is gonna do is lay back and show her [censored] and get on with it, but she’s not. She’s good. She actually comes out and delivers a performance full of content and she works very, very hard and she is good at it,” Bruno says.

One of Kate Gosselin’s most recent dances was the paso double, for which she and partner Tony chose Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” single, as they thought it would allow Kate to relate better to the dance. The performance turned out to be rather “robotic” as well, spawning many negative comments online – and even a parody skit by Jimmy Fallon, as we also informed you the other day.
