“Botox mom” Kerry Campbell is actually Sheen Upton – and she lied for money

Kerry Campbell went on national television saying she injected her 8-year-old daughter with Botox to get her ready for kiddie beauty pageants. As it turns out, she may have been lying all along: for money and fame, because Kerry is desperate to become a star.

Since the topic grabbed the attention of the international media, it has also managed to generate very negative responses to the mother’s behavior, as expected.

Over the weekend, Britney, the 8-year-old girl who was reportedly getting the Botox shots and even bikini waxes, was removed from her mother’s custody as a result of the interview Campbell did with Good Morning America, following a piece in The Sun.

Radar Online is now reporting that Campbell lied about the injections: she’s never given her daughter Botox and / or waxes, but she clearly has no qualms about using her for the free publicity.

“It’s beginning to look like Kerry’s claims about giving her daughter Botox injections looks like a hoax, and that Kerry is making the entire thing up for publicity,” a source tells Radar.

“Kerry is obsessed with reality television, and wants to become famous. Child Protective Services are conducting an investigation about the Botox claims, and at this point, there is absolutely no evidence that Kerry injected Britney with Botox,” adds the spy.

Not only is there no evidence of Botox, but Kerry Campbell doesn’t even exist: the woman, now known widely as “Botox mom” because of the outrageous claims she made on GMA, actually goes by Sheena Upton and, she tells TMZ, she was paid by The Sun to tell the story.

According to a video interview with the celebrity e-zine, Upton claims she was paid $200 or $300 by The Sun and then “framed” to make her look like she was shooting her daughter up with Botox.

She says the story was meant to be about a mother and daughter’s day at the spa, that she was requested to hold syringes to Britney’s face as if she was giving her Botox and then her story was twisted to make her look bad.

As for the GMA interview, Upton claims the ABC reporters never checked facts to see if she was lying – moreover, they even offered her $10,000 for the interview. She lied in that interview too, she says.

In other words, first she says she manipulated into saying those things, then she claims she was “acting.” For her explanation, see here, here and here.
