Today, wireless operator Boost Mobile announced the launch of Sanyo Juno by Kyocera in two colors, impulsive pink and deep blue. According to the mobile phone carrier, the new addition is meant to show its commitment to offer a variety of handsets on its $50 Monthly Unlimited Plan on the Nationwide Sprint Network.

The new handset is expected to prove a great option when coupled with Boost Mobile’s Monthly Unlimited Plan, which offers nationwide unlimited voice, text messaging and Web, all available for only $50 a month. Sanyo Juno by Kyocera will be put on sale with a price tag of $99.99, while offering a full QWERTY keyboard and a 2.2-inch display screen, fitted for navigating through the phone's easy-to-use menu. At the same time, the handset comes with a 1.3-megapixel photo snapper with digital zoom, so that users can capture and share important moments in their lives.

“Juno adds some real fun to Boost’s growing handset lineup as it has the perfect combination of functionality, a sleek look and hot colors,” said Neil Lindsay, chief marketing officer for Boost Mobile. “Paired with the Monthly Unlimited Plan, consumers will get exactly what they crave to meet their talking and texting needs for a low, straightforward price.”

The specifications list of Juno includes Bluetooth connectivity, GPS receiver, speakerphone with voice recognition, dedicated 1-click text and .com keys, Instant Messaging, support for web email, Voicemail, Caller ID, Call Waiting & Call Forwarding, as well as Multi-Media & Threaded Text Messaging. The new handset for Boost Mobile can be purchased for $99.99 (excluding taxes) from the wireless carrier's website, and it is expected to arrive in Boost Mobile Exclusive Retail Stores and at retailers in the following weeks.

“The Sanyo Juno by Kyocera is an ideal handset for Boost Mobile customers who want a stylish and affordable QWERTY messaging device that doesn’t skimp on features or performance,” said Yasuhiro Oishi, vice president of sales and marketing at Kyocera Communications Inc. “The Juno is a great tool to unleash the power of the Nationwide Sprint Network, and we are proud that our product line is so strongly represented in Boost Mobile’s growing handset lineup.”
