Undoubtedly, James Bond fans need no reminding that, this year, a new installment in the time-enduring and successful franchise is coming out. If they do, French actress Berenice Marlohe, one of the new Bond girls, is here to help them out.

Marlohe is featured in the latest issue of British GQ, in a spread that's bound to set pulse racing: she's shown in lingerie or stylish raincoats, posing next to vintage cars. As they say, the best of both worlds.

For fans who are also interested in the film and not just Berenice's stunning looks, GQ also brings an interview with the star, in which she talks about some of the things they're to expect from “Skyfall.”

Apparently, “Skyfall” will stick to being classy in the portrayal of women. Less is more applies to the women who will be featured in it in terms of revealing clothes, she says.

“With the Bond movies, […] they're quite chaste, actually. Which is, to me, the best way. Nowadays you see too many naked women, all the time, everywhere. In video clips. It’s so boring! You lose this magic and suddenly a woman that is dressed seems way more attractive,” the actress says.

Of course, that doesn't make her shy, as her GQ spread can surely confirm. She is, however, a bit nervous about how her involvement in the project will be received by fans.

“I kept hearing it all the time – Bond girl, Bond girl, Bond girl – and I thought, 'Oh my God, what do people expect?' Do they just expect someone who is pretty? What do they want me to do?” she says.

It's just as well that she was cast in “Skyfall” because, back home, she was simply considered not French enough.

“All the French agents told me, 'No, you don’t look like a French actress, this will not work.' Even people who saw me in acting workshops and wanted to introduce me to people; when those people considered my picture, they said, 'No, she will never work in France.' I don’t know what to say. I was not in the mold,” she recalls of struggling to find work back home.

“Skyfall” is perhaps one of the most anticipated films of the year and that's not just because it happens to be a James Bond movie.

Production on it was delayed for years, even prompting some comments as to the franchise being dead and buried. Luckily, that did not turn out to be the case.

“Skyfall” sees Daniel Craig and Dame Judi Dench reprise their roles, and adds Javier Bardem, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes and Berenice to the cast. It's directed by Oscar winner Sam Mendes and will be out in November.
