BlackBerry Smartphones Receive WorldMate Liv as their Travel Assistant

MobiMate has just launched WorldMate Live, a service meant to bring traveling solutions for BlackBerry smartphone owners. This will provide useful information in real-time on the mobile phones of a large number of
people.

WorldMate Live is a Web-based software which works as a personal travel assistant and provides customized flight-update alerts, schedules and itinerary, as well as meeting notifications, maps and directions. It brings reliable information on fight details, rental car details, hotel and meeting information, local time and weather, all highly useful especially for travelers.

"We've identified a need for this product among millions of jetsetters, and specifically designed a solution to alleviate the pain points and stress associated with road-warriors' busy agendas as they battle the unpredictability associated with transportation and meetings. WorldMate Live is unique in that it automatically pushes trip logistics directly to users' fingertips, ensuring the easiest possible travel experience", said WorldMate CEO Nadav Gur.

Because of these performances, people at WorldMate has high hopes for the success of this automated service. "WorldMate Live will revolutionize the way people use mobile devices for global travel, significantly affecting the travel eco-system", believes Nadav Gur.

WorldMate Live is programmed to compile and synchronize information from Microsoft Outlook and also packs calendars and email, along with many Internet sources in order to bring up to date any useful information to BlackBerry smartphone users. The application will be offered as a "Freemium" service, which means that most components will be free of any charge, while some premium features will need a paid subscription.

WorldMate Live will be available starting with August 2nd for open beta on BlackBerry devices. It will work on J2ME, BlackBerry, Palm, all Microsoft Windows Mobile versions, Symbian UIQ, S60 and S80 Communicators and Desktop PC platforms. The application has been listed among the top 10 best seller ones.
