BlackBerry Curve 8900 Goes Live with AT&T Tomorrow

AT&T to release BlackBerry Curve 8900 tomorrow

According to the latest news on the Web, wireless carrier AT&T is set to release the full-QWERTY BlackBerry Curve 8900 smartphone as soon as tomorrow, Friday, May 22. The new mobile phone will come to the operator's lineup as a replacement of the older Blackberry Curve 83xx-series devices, which have been with the company for around two years already.

In addition to announcing the immediate availability of the device, AT&T is also reported to have mentioned the price tag for the handset, which has been set at $199 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement. The new BlackBerry Curve 8900 is expected to be a great upgrade to the company's lineup, especially since it will come with improvements over the already appreciated Blackberry Curve 83xx series.

The handset comes to AT&T's users with a high-resolution display (480 x 360 pixels), a 3.2-megapixel photo snapper that includes auto focus and image stabilization, Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS receiver (with support for location-based applications and services, such as AT&T Navigator), a microSD/SDHC memory card slot for additional storage space of up to 16GB per card, support for quad-band EDGE (850/900/1700/ 1800Mhz) frequencies, as well as with a removable battery that can offer up to 5.5 hours of talk time or up to 15 days of standby time.

“This new smartphone has a stunning design that builds upon the success of the BlackBerry Curve with more features for applications, all in a high-quality handset,” said Chris Hill, vice president, AT&T Business Solutions, when the company announced the availability of the handset. “Add to it free access to the nation’s largest Wi-Fi network and the BlackBerry Curve 8900 from AT&T delivers unmatched value and performance for personal and business use.”

According to the company, users who will purchase the new BlackBerry Curve 8900 will be able to enjoy a richer experience while surfing the Internet and accessing their social networking sites, courtesy of its wireless and Wi-Fi networks (including free AT&T Wi-Fi access at nearly 20,000 hotspots in the U.S.). In addition, they will also be able to enjoy the handset's multimedia capabilities, as well as its leading email and messaging features.

its a very cute and technologed phone i liked the tv and the keys but its so expensive and i cant buy it so rlly 10x for the inventor and for every body who tried to prove this electric mashine to be that fantastic phone
