Six months after the introduction of the original Shinobi case, BitFenix has announced a special edition of this chassis that sports the same design and advanced features set, but in a new colorway that takes its inspiration from the German flag.

What this means is that Shinobi's latest creation features an all-black frame with two red mesh stripes, going vertically along the sides of the front panel, and a specially designed golden logo.

Inside the chassis, users can accommodate a wide variety of hardware, including long graphics cards, and up to three 5.25-inch optical drives or eight 3.5-inch hard drives.

Those who want to install 2.5-inch hard drives or solid state disks will also be glad to know the Shinobi comes with a 5.25-inch drive bay adapter built especially for this purpose.

In addition, the case can be configured with up to seven 120mm fans (two can be upgraded to 140mm) and features removable filtered fan intakes as well as a large cutout on the motherboard tray, which enables users to swap the CPU cooler without having to remove the motherboard.

As it's usually the case with BitFenix chassis, the top and front covers use the company's SofTouch Surface Treatment that lends a matte finish and soft feel while resisting fingerprints and stains.

The Power and Reset buttons are placed on the top of the case and these are accompanied by four USB 2.0 ports and by two 3.5mm audio jacks to connect a headset.

BitFenix will make the new Shinobi Germany Edition available in two different versions, one featuring a side window while the other comes without such an accessory.

According to the company, pricing is set at 55.90 Euro for the windowless version, while its sibling carries a recommended price tag of 62.90 Euro.
