Former bandmate and good friend spills the beans on singer's pregnancy

Beyonce and Jay-Z didn't want to tell the press whether they were having a boy or a girl, saying only they would become parents in February. Kelly Rowland has, more or less unwillingly, clarified that for everybody.

In a new interview with BANG Showbiz, the X Factor judge and singer has let it slip that the two are expecting a girl.

Since she's a close friend of Beyonce's and has admittedly been spending a lot of time with her, she's probably seen the things she and Jay-Z have already bought for the baby – and one can guess they're pink.

“I'm so happy for my sister and her husband. They're so happy in this moment right now, as they should be. They've made a little bundle of love, I'm so excited for them,” Kelly told the news agency, talking about her former Destiny's Child bandmate and still good friend, Beyonce.

She then let it slip that the two will soon become parents to a baby girl.

“I have no idea what I'm going to buy Beyonce at the baby shower because Jay is going to buy that little girl every single thing possible. She won't be spoiled but she will be very well looked-after,” Kelly went on to say.

And, assuming Beyonce will forgive her for letting the cat out of the bag, Kelly is willing to help out whenever she's needed.

“I'll be on hand for babysitting duties and I'm actually very good with messy diapers!” she gushed in the same interview.

As fans and gossip lovers must already know, Beyonce's pregnancy (her first) has been surrounded by controversy since the day she made the big announcement on the red carpet at the MTV VMAs 2011.

A television interview she gave after the announcement seemed to show her baby bump fold in on itself, which got many people saying that she was probably wearing a prosthetic bump either to appear further along than she was or to make people believe she was pregnant when she wasn't.

As expected, the singer's camp denied all these allegations on more than one occasions, but, somehow, they're still making the rounds.
