Bethesda is a major publisher that's been focused on high-profile titles and releases like Fallout and The Elder Scrolls, and it seems it has no plans to expand its offerings in terms of platforms or business models in the coming year.

Pete Hines, the vice president of marketing and public relations at the company, believes that Bethesda knows its strengths and understands that it can increase its success by focusing on them.

This means that the publisher has no plans to launch titles for the Xbox Live Arcade from Microsoft, the PlayStation Network from Sony, the various Nintendo platforms, or mobile devices.

Hines tells Eurogamer that "It’s not something that we’ve done anything for previously. I don’t even remember the last time we’ve done a Nintendo title. We don’t have anything now. Whether or not we would in the future is TBD. As for why, I guess I’d rather not go into that."

Bethesda also stayed out of the initial stampede to launch Facebook spin-offs, and now believes that the medium is ill-suited to the kind of titles the company can deliver.

Hines adds, "That’s not to say that we wouldn’t do an iPhone game or an XBLA thing, but it would have to be at a certain time where it would feel right coming from us. If we’re not going to do that, then we’re just not going to bother."

During E3 2013, Bethesda focused its presentation on: The Evil Within, the new survival horror title from Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami, Wolfenstein: The New Order, the first person shooter from MachineGames, and The Elder Scrolls Online, the MMO from ZeniMax Online.

The publisher is also working on Prey 2, but no official news has been offered on the project lately, after the collaboration with Human Head was terminated.
