
BenQ Mobile has announced its first HSDPA enabled handset, the EF91.The HSDPA technology is an improvement over 3G, delivering faster data transfer rates.
Though the mobile was initially announced for the fourth quarter of this year, it now seems that the release date has been hastened and customers can expect the
phone in July.
Little is known about the phone's specifications but it will sport a 2 inch
display capable of showing 240 x 320 pixel resolution in 262k colors and a 3.2 megapixel
camera. Also, it will include a music player and 3D surround sound for an improved audio experience. There is also support for
Bluetooth connectivity and a microSD card slot for memory expansion.
The EF91 will be available via T-Mobile. Details about pricing are yet unknown.
