14 DAY TRIAL // Canadian mobile phone carrier Bell has just added to its offering a new device capable of keeping users connected to its 4G network, namely the 4G LTE Novatel Wireless U679 Turbo Stick.
The new device is also known as the Ovation MC 679 USB modem, and can deliver a fast connectivity experience on the wireless carrier's 4G LTE network.
In areas where the Bell LTE coverage is available, the stick can provide download speeds of up to 75 Megabits per second (Mbps), while the usual speeds range between 12 and 25 Mbps.
This is the slimmest and most compact 4G LTE USB modem launched on the market at the moment, packing an internal MIMO receive antenna, which should result in an optimal performance when needed.
Moreover, it offers support for the Dual Carrier HSPA+ networks, on which it can provide users with speeds of up to 42 Mbps (typical between 7 and 14 Mbps), as well as with HSPA+ airwaves, offering speeds of up to 21 Mbps (3.5 and 8 Mbps on average).

The 4G LTE Novatel Wireless U679 Turbo Stick is compatible both with Windows PCs, as well as with Mac computers.
It is a plug-and-play stick, and was made available for purchase in Bell stores and on the wireless carrier's website with a price tag of $59.95 with the signing of a three-year term, or for $199.95 with no term.
