I don't know about you, but one of my biggest dreams when I was a kid was to be enlisted in the Guiness Book of World Records, to have my name next to those of the craziest and zaniest people in the world. Of course, time passed and I did nothing worthy of being mentioned there. It seems that, after all these years, I have the chance to rewrite some of the world records and be happy for a lifetime. And, what's even better, you can do that, too. Anybody can! How come? Well, Warner Bros has announced Guinness World Records: The Videogame, which will be launched for Nintendo Wii and DS this fall. You'll have to compete in exactly 40 challenges based on real life records and share your scores with the world, using the online leaderboards. That way, you'll see exactly whether you are indeed a world champion or not!

Matches can be played solo, in teams or competitive multiplayer and the ultimate prize is something nobody will probably say "pass" to: the chance to get listed in the official Guiness World Records book! For the moment, the developers have decided not to explain us exactly how we'll be able to do that, but it doesn't even matter too much, as long as the chance exists and we'll easily take advantage of it!

Now, when it comes to actual gameplay, you will be able to travel the world and compete in crazy stunts, like Fastest Time to Crush Watermelons With Your Head, Fastest Time to Eat a Plane, Fastest Time to Shear a Sheep, and more. However, not only record-breaking will be possible in-game, but finding out lots of interesting facts about other records, too - all by only embarking on a voyage worldwide, as I've said, and finding the so-called "hot spots" to stand on. Guinness World Records: The Videogame already seems to be a massive hit.
