Battlefield Hardline is running its second beta stage at the moment, with any player who wants to take part in the testing of the first-person shooter able to do so, and developer Visceral Games and publisher Electronic Arts are claiming that they have introduced 15 major improvements to the game, all based on the feedback that the player community has been delivering.

The official announcement starts off by explaining that the Gadget Master name for the mechanic was the result of a close vote and that the upgraded sub-machine guns and the sat phones have been added to make it more unique.

Gamers also prompted the addition of a new customization screen layout and persuaded developers to introduce more interactive moments.

Visceral Games adds, "The team received feedback during the beta aimed at the quick progression of rounds. We’ve made tweaks to both Heist and Blood Money that should help make the experiences last longer without sacrificing any of the fun."

Unusual for a Battlefield game, the number of explosions was actually brought down and the HUD was de-cluttered in order to make it easier to get important info.

The fans have also offered opinions which led to the improvement of vehicle survivability, and more audio cues were introduced in order to give players more info on the moves of the enemy.

Visceral Games also claims interrogation is now more useful and movement speed for all characters was improved, especially when using pistols.

Visceral Games adds, "During the first beta, we heard from fans who didn’t like how the camera 'bounced' when you were being suppressed. You’ll notice that your situational awareness will still be affected while being suppressed, but your aimpoint is not. Also, we’ve toned down the camera shake that you’ll experience during high tension moments."

The team also explains that for the second beta, survivalist was tweaked, more visual feedback was introduced, cars gained speed, and more weak spots were added for the heavy vehicles.

The beta for Battlefield Hardline is running until February 8 and Visceral claims that it will make some small tweaks based on data gathered from it before the lunch dates of March 17 in North America and March 19 in Europe.
