The upcoming Battlefield 3 delivers a big and quality experience, according to its developer, meaning it doesn't discriminate between the single-player and the multiplayer campaigns, as both will receive the proper amount of care and polish before the game's release.

Battlefield 3 is set to appear this fall and has already raised quite a lot of hype with its innovative Frostbite 2 engine, which allows high-quality animations and graphics, not to mention more immersive gameplay.

What's more, according to DICE, the developer of the title, Battlefield 3 is set to offer a great experience no matter the preferences of the player, as it has a rich story campaign, a complex multiplayer and even a separate cooperative mode with levels designed for two platforms.

"Most people that hate singleplayer are the ones that love multiplayer. That's fine - you don't have to play it," game director Patrick Bach told Edge magazine. "We want the product to cater for the people who do like singleplayer and also the people who like multiplayer - and we are adding co-op, too - trying to fill the gaps all the way from the hardcore full-on Conquest mode, to the narrative-driven singleplayer."

In the end, Bach highlights that the fans of the series should understand that DICE isn't discriminating between certain modes, as the studio is polishing up every aspect of the title.

"People just have to understand that we aren't taking people away from one thing or the other. We're just making the product bigger."

Battlefield 3 is going to take military first-person shooters to another level this fall, on October 26, when Electronic Arts is going to publish the title for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, right before its biggest rival, Activision, launches its own realistic, military first-person shooter, in the form of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, coming from Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games.
