14 DAY TRIAL // Great news for Battlefield 3 players, as DICE and Electronic Arts will kick off later today a special double XP weekend in the multiplayer mode of the popular first person shooter.
Battlefield 3 sold quite a lot of copies since its launch last year and, in order to keep players happy until the Close Quarters expansion arrives for the game in June, DICE and EA have kicked off the first Double XP weekend for the shooter.
As such, for every action in the multiplayer, Battlefield 3 owners on the PC, PS3 or Xbox 360 will gain twice the amount of XP points, thus unlocking new items and progressing through the ranks in a faster way.
The Double XP weekend kicks off later today, on Saturday, May 12, at 12:01AM PST, and closes on Sunday, May 13, at 11:59PM PST.
