The eagle was flying very close to the rocket just as it was lifting off

It looks like it's not just humans that are fascinated by rocket launches. In the past few days, the animal kingdom has gotten a perhaps unhealthy fascination for the explosive events. A few days ago, an adrenaline junkie frog captured the world's attention, during the Minotaur V rocket launch.

Now, an eagle wants the same viral fame and has photobombed the Orbital Sciences launch, which put the Cygnus spacecraft into orbit and on its way to the International Space Station.

The eagle was flying very close to the Antares rocket just as it was lifting off the ground, and pushing a huge amount of debris to the side and can be spotted in a photo by NASA's Bill Ingalls. The eagle is actually from around those parts as he was spotted on the adjacent pad, from where the Minotaur V rocket launched.
