While trying to port Test Drive Unlimited to the PlayStation 2 and the PSP, Atari has decided to lose any extra baggage. Could you call a studio that developed a game like Test Drive Le Mans extra baggage? I guess so?

Anyway, Melbourne House, the developer of the Dreamcast racer Test Drive Le Mans has been purchased by Krome Studios. Melborne House also worked on the PS2 game Transformers and DethKarz and GP 500.

Test Drive: LeMans is a game in the long series of Test Drive games, which focuses on the 24 hours Le Mans race. It has been received well by all racing game fans and its detailed graphics, tight controls and exquisite audio have been praised. The game offers three modes of play: arcade, championship and the 24 hours Le Mans race itself. In the championship mode you have to get a job with a GT2 team and work your way in the racing game.

Krome Studios is not a rookie in the gaming industry as they have already released quite a few titles including TY the Tasmanian Tiger, The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning, The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius, Jet Fusion, King Arthur, Extremely Goofy Skateboarding, Championship Surfer and many more.
