Ashley Greene, who plays vampire Alice in “The Twilight Saga,” is considered one of the hottest and most stunning up-and-coming actresses of our times. In a new interview with Allure, she dishes a bit about fame, the gossip mill and the kind of men she fancies.

Even though she doesn’t want to acknowledge it, Greene is getting a lot of press for her personal life and, in particular, for the man she’s dated or is believed to have dated.

For a while, she was seeing Joe Jonas, who once dated Demi Lovato. Ashley believes their relationship is like the Angelina Jolie – Brad Pitt – Jennifer Aniston trio for the media, where she’d be Jolie.

“I’m really happy that she’s doing well…,” she says of a so-called “feud” with Demi.

“She and I never had a problem with each other, but, you know, it doesn’t go away. Jen Aniston still gets asked about Angelina Jolie,” she adds.

While chances are she was only trying to say the tabloids have a knack for making stuff up, her comment has already been interpreted as a very smug gesture on her part, because she’s comparing herself to Jolie when she’s “just” another “Twilight” star.

As for reports that she once spent the night with alleged womanizer Gerard Butler and was then left heartbroken because he wouldn’t call her, Ashley says none of that is true.

She has the ultimate argument for it as well: Gerry is not exactly her type.

“He’s extremely attractive, but I think he’s a little too old for me. Don’t print that I called Gerard Butler old, I feel bad,” she says.

The kind of guy she prefers comes with a healthy dose of ambition, wit and, last but not least, unattainability.

“Randomly, I’ll be attracted to a crazy rocker with tattoos. And I find that I’m extremely attracted to ambition and wit. If it was appropriate to date Michael Sheen, I would, but he and his girlfriend [Rachel McAdams] are so cute,” she says.

“And maybe this is ‘You want what you can’t have’ — Neil Patrick Harris. And, oh, Cooper Anderson….[I mean] Anderson Cooper. I’d be all over that,” Ashley adds.
